VIII of Pentacles
This is called the “Craft” card. It implies a very
creative person willing to work with their craft to make money.
The word create covers all areas of life. It is not restricted
to artists, musicians, actors, etc. There are those that have
been very creative in all walks of life, such as the medical profession
and engineering. We don’t think of them as being creative,
but look at our world. Concrete was once just an idea. Someone
had to create the making and develop the methods to use it.
The Eight of Pentacles tells us that this person may be in the
beginning of a potentially successful career. It does appear for
those that are trying to make a career out of a hobby or interest.
The other side of the meaning is a description of someone involved
in the ole’ religion of Wicca. Please do some research before
you start making assumptions and judgments about the word, Wicca.
Yes, there is the dark side and the white side of Witch Craft.
Consider that Wicca or Witch Craft is the oldest known religion
in the world. It predates organized religion, as we know it today.
Over the years, Wicca has become the description for those that
practice White Magic. Witch Craft is the monocle for the Dark
side of the Majic.
With that said, look at the surrounding cards and you will see
what the complete message is. This person works hard to maintain
inner and outer peace. They want their world to be peaceful and
in order. They are bordering on being a “workaholic.”

In reverse: What
is this person not willing to do for the greater good of a given
situation?
This person is ready for, but does not have the correct mentor
that can take them to the next step for the development of their
talents.
They may be using their talents in a negative way, such as the
charmer who takes advantage of people, or the artist that is a
forger. Look for cheating cards in the rest of the deck to let
you know in what area.
Be careful of putting effort into a venture that is not worth
the time and money.
