Another name for this card is the “Harvest” card. Someone is going to be rewarded for all of his or her hard work.

However, they need to be careful about taking a long break along the way or being distracted. It could have a negative and lasting effect on their endeavors. Be aware that others are trying to interfere with positive progress. Take steps to prevent it.

Remind the quarent that there are many ways to be paid for our labor. Winning a trip, cash, material goods, time off, etc. are forms of payment for our work.

Don’t forget to reward yourself. Go ahead, take some time off, go on a short trip, and spend more time with the family or good friends. Go shopping!

In reverse: There will not be the reward that the quarent had worked for. There is much anxiety over the lack of money or material stability. Did they work as hard they thought they did? Was the effort not appreciated? Did someone lie to them about the amount of payment for the work?

If the Six of Pentacles is the reverse in this layout, it could mean that there was intentional sabotage for the gains expected.

It is time to look at the possibility that this work is not ever going to give them what they have been told or hoped for.
