VII of Cups

This card is known as the Illusion card. The Seven of Cups holds promises of many options, most of which are not based on positive intent. There is confusion, even hallucination being experienced. On the other hand, it is possible to have too much of a good thing. It is possible to be overwhelmed by what could happen. Remember that this is an emotional card. The Cups hold messaged for professional, family, home, fortune and sexual favors.
It can be related to the dark side of our being. A person has the right and freedom of choice to select just one or to bring all of the energies into his life. Even the shrouded cup speaks of taking a chance with the unknown. The cloud is gray, the color of wisdom. Through all of the choices runs the wisdom of knowledge gained through living with the choices.

Reversed: Assumed choices are not available. There is great disappointment in any of the options. This indicates a time to wait and see. This not a time of disillusionment; great things are about to happen. Continue to be strong and determined.
