Why didn't they.....?

My friend, Dolly, and I went to see the movie, "What the Bleep Do We Know" a few days ago. If you haven't seen it, please do. It will wipe the cobwebs away from the brain and the emotions.

That is what it did for me. Wiped the cobwebs away from the brain and emotions. By the time I left the movie I wanted the script so that I could remember ALL of the things that these brainy people were saying. I want to read the words and mull over them for a while. If you have not seen it, it takes a look at what reality may or may not be in an individual's world. This is done with a strong scientific approach, via Quantum physics. They do talk about cell reprogramming, saying that cells have a memory. That has been a major topic of conversation in the metaphysical world for years now. We accepted that long before the scientist felt they had to go into a laboratory to prove it.

And, I loved the philosophies that the scientist shared with their audiences.

The word metaphysics is spoken maybe once or twice the entire movie, but the essence of that word hangs in the air. They even show energy around human bodies. We call that an aura. It can even be photographed. That is something that the scientific labs have done for years. In fact, you can have an aura photo done at most psychic fairs.

The graphics are eye catching, to say the least, and they do a wonderful job of helping to explain the theories.

The one word that is not spoken one single time in the entire movie is "psychic." Even though J. Z. Knight, who channels Ramtha is prevalent in the movie. For those of you not familiar with her, she has channeled Ramtha, an ancient for many years now. There she sits and not one word about how THAT part of the brain could work. Not one word about WHERE it comes from in order to be developed and used. Not one word about HOW the energy called psychic or mediumship could be produced in order to share it with others.

Plus, they did not explore the spirit. Well, it was alluded to. Told you, it was a science based movie. And, in spite of the fact that I felt it was not inclusive, I was fascinated by it. I will own it when it is released. Oh, wait, Pam told me that it is available through their website.

Now, for the thoughts that came to me because of the movie....

The big question for me was, "Wonder how the spirit feels about being left out of the even bigger equation?" Does it go into depression because of the rejection? Where does the spirit fit into all of this? Is that the thing that makes all of it work? Does it fear underdevelopment if the mind and body does not keep an agreement made before birth? Does it feel frustrated that this basic part is not being utilized by the human armor? Is that the basic energy that makes our bodies move, our brains do the reprograming that is needed to be in control of our minds and bodies so that we can grow and develop into the person that we want to be, (or someone else wants us to be)?

OR, does the spirit already know EVERYTHING that is going to happen before it settles into the thing called a body? In that case, it would not be frustrated, depressed or fearful. It would accept the lessons that it is going to teach those around us and get on with the life.

We know that the spirit never forgets and when it leaves the body at our physical death it can be in any shape or age description it wants to be. We know that there are many different kinds of spirits that come and go in bodies. Ever heard someone say, "They are not themselves today?" Well, they may not be. A spirit may be temporarily borrowing their body for an assignment.

When the scientist talked about the cell memory and how the brain parts interact to reform addictive behaviors of all kinds, the element of the spirit was never mentioned. They talked a bunch about the energy in the brain, but not what that is. Is that the thing called spirit?

And, does the spirit have a sense of remorse because these questions and many more like them are not being addressed?

Now, I know, I am treating the spirit like it is a completely separate entity from the mind and the body. But, don't we say, Body, Mind and Soul/Spirit?

So, why didn't they recognize the spirit? Are they trying to make all of the parts of our bodies strictly a scientific laboratory?

No, I don't believe that they are doing that. I believe that the word spirit and what it is, is way too big of a subject for the scientists to tackle in their labs.

Even the theologians cannot prove how spirit makes our bodies function. One must have deep, even blind faith to accept the fact that spiritual energy just settles into this body armor and creates who we are. It fills our skin and our brain and becomes the creator of all of our senses. I believe that it helps us to be whatever it helps the brain to create for us.

I believe that the research has just begun. Now that they have been brave enough and learned enough to put this much of their research results into a movie, I think the next step will be further investigation into what spirit is. We all know that the more questions and answers we get the more questions there are. Sooner or later the scientist will have all of the answers to the scientifically based questions and they will have to look elsewhere for the rest of the answers. It won't happen in my lifetime, but over the next few generations we will see more scientist and theologians work together to get the whole picture and present it to us.

Wonder what kind of laboratory they will work in?

Blessings,

Elaine
